Meghan and Harry LATEST – Duke and Duchess of Sussex set to ditch royal titles for American TV special

The Sun

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry will appear in a US TV special this month - but there was no mention of the couple's royal titles.

The announcement listed the couple simply as 'Harry and Meghan', for the forthcoming TIME 100 Special on ABC on September 22.

According to E! News: “The special will reveal the full list of 100 influential people in what ABC calls 'an entertainment-filled inside look at the leaders, creators and everyday heroes comprising the 2020 list ahead of its TIME print debut'”.

This comes as it was revealed the royal couple donated nearly £100,000 to a charity that supports women in Africa.

The generous pair were moved by CAMFED's online campaign to end African poverty through girls' education and empowerment.

On Tuesday, Harry's birthday, they matched the funds the charity had already pulled together, £99,271, by donating a further £98,186.
