You may have heard news that McDonald's is launching a triple cheeseburger in the UK.

The three-times everything menu item is currently on trial to test its popularity.

The creation is made up of three beef patties with triple cheese and is seasoned with a pinch of salt and pepper.

It is then topped with tangy pickles, chopped onions, ketchup and mustard and sandwiched between a soft bun.

McDonald's is trialling the burger in 60 UK restaurants

McDonald's is trialling the burger in 60 UK restaurants, mainly across Yorkshire.

The fast food chain will only look to roll it out nationwide later in the year if it proves popular, which we think is pretty likely.

And with 89 McDonald's restaurants across Wales there'll be plenty of places to pick one up if it does become a permanent feature.

In the meantime the burger will be available at multiple branches across Worksop, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Balby, Thorne, Chesterfield, Barlborough, Hillsborough, Tankersely, Woodall, Cortonwood and Grimsby.

Scunthorpe, Hull, Cleethorpes, Willerby, Ennerdale, Bridlington, Laceby, York, Harrogate and Knaresborough will also have it for sale.

The triple burger will cost £2.39 but prices may vary.

It comes after McDonald's switched up their breakfast menu for Pancake Day this week.

The fast food chain also delighted fans by dropping Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots for the first time.
