February can be a dismal month, but one well-established company plans to put a smile on the faces of their customers with a not-to-be-missed home improvement offer.
If you’re thinking of sprucing up your home, one of the quickest and easiest ways is with new internal doors.
Branches of Maxwells DIY can be found throughout the region from Ashington in the north, to Barnard Castle in the south, with seven stores in between.
To celebrate the new year, and following a recent, very successful promotion, they have teamed up with LPD Doors to provide customers with some fantastic deals on two of their most in-demand doors.
The Oak Belize features the ever-popular five vertical panel design, and starts at £89.
The Oak Carini with Mediterranean-style horizontal strips, is priced from £99.
Maxwells experienced installers provide an optional, personalised, fitting service for internal doors of all types, including hollow, oak, pine, mahogany, double doors and even sliding doors.
Whatever your requirements, come and see what we have to offer – we have an abundance of styles and sizes to cover all needs, including fire rated and metric.
The company has been serving the public for nearly 80 years, founded in 1932 by Jack Maxwell, a cabinet maker, who opened a small shop in Durham City.
Expansion resulted in a move to Sunderland in 1946, where he rebuilt bomb-damaged premises in Vine Place.
As the family business grew, Jack’s son, John Donald Maxwell – known as Don - took over the management of the business in the mid-sixties, and started to expand the company with more branches opening over the next couple of decades; first in Jarrow, then Fulwell, and on to both South and North Shields, Newcastle, Gateshead, and Birtley.
Don officially retired in 1992 but is still working in the business at the ‘young’ age of 88. Jack’s grandsons, Keith and Neil, are still carrying the flame, and upholding the same family values of supplying quality products, coupled with exceptional customer service.
Managing Director, Keith Maxwell, says: “Many of our employees have worked with us for more than 30 years, and they use their experience and professionalism to ensure that we maintain our high standard of customer care.
“We pride ourselves on being a ‘bricks and mortar’ company. We are always here, or on the end of the phone, ready to listen to questions and provide solutions, with honest feedback.”
Whether it’s doors, DIY, or homeware supplies you’re looking for, Maxwells can help.
Maxwells’ door promotion runs until the end of February.
