FT: Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool

A much-improved from Liverpool but it isn't enough to stay in the competition as United run out 3-2 winners.

Williams mistake

Williams lose the ball to Fernandes in his own box.

He recovers but that ends any chance of a late attack.

Salah volleys wide

Robertson takes it, Pogba gets a head to it and Salah volleys wide. That looks like it might be it as Henderson wastes time on the goal-kick.

Pogba booked

Pogba booked for taking out Jones outwide on the edge of the box.

Good chance to get the ball into the box but can Liverpool make it count?

Keep ball

Liverpool keeping the ball well but nowhere near the United goal

You fear they're going to run out of time. One minute to go.

Alisson gets the ball stuck under his feet but gets away with it despite Cavani lurking.

One last chance?

Into the last minute with four minutes to be added on.

Can Liverpool find an equaliser? They deserve one but struggling to break down United at the moment.

Off the post!

Cavani unlucky not to make it 4-2 as his header bounces back off the post.
