Following the international break the Premier League 2 is back and Manchester United U23s will be hoping to continue their fine start to the season.

Under the new stewardship of Neil Wood and Quinton Fortune, United have begun the season on fire, despite regularly being without Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes due to their first time duties.

United had won their first three games at a canter, without even conceding a goal, with victories against West Brom, Reading and Newcastle, with midfielder James Garner in particularly brilliant form.

However, the 100 per cent record came to an end when the youngsters met West Ham United, who had also won all their games, and played out a 2-2 draw.

United currently sit top of the table on goal difference but will be hoping to extent their lead when they take on Fulham at Leigh Sports Village, with kick-off coming at 7pm.
