Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has vowed to rotate his Manchester United side for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Colchester on Wednesday night.
United could usher back Diogo Dalot from a two-month injury lay-off, while youngsters James Garner, Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood are all likely to start after featuring versus AZ Alkmaar last week.
Solskjaer has used the cup competitions as a chance to give fringe players game time this season. Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial started against Alkmaar but the Norwegian may play an even weaker side against the League Two side at Old Trafford.
He gave a strong indication that wholesale changes will be made from the team that drew 1-1 with Everton. United's next Premier League game is away at Watford on Sunday.
Solskjaer said: "We've got a squad and we've got to rotate and we did that on Thursday [against AZ Alkmaar], so we're going make changes again because there are so many games.
"I hope and I think the team I'm going to put out is going to be a strong enough one to win a game. At home against a League Two side you're big favourites and we've got to accept that but we have to go out there and earn it."
Greenwood came off the bench to have a big impact against Everton and should get another chance to continue his scoring streak against Colchester.
Maguire and Martial were the only first-teamers to start against Alkmaar last week, so both should get a rest, though Victor Lindelof may start alongside Axel Tuanzebe at the back.
Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes ought to be in the matchday squad, though both are currently locked in contract stalemates with the club right now, with their current deals expiring in the summer.
Predicted Man United XI vs Colchester: Romero; Young, Lindelof, Tuanzebe, Williams; Garner, Matic; Dalot, Mata, Pereira; Greenwood.
