Hundreds of students at Manchester College are still waiting for their exam results - 24 hours after they were due to be released.
Students waiting for BTEC Level 3 had not still received their grades on Friday morning.
Manchester College say the delay is due to a technical issue being experienced by the exam board.
Some students say the wait has left them fearful that they have missed out on vital opportunities to contact the university clearing system.
Sam Mills, 19, from Swinton, has been waiting for his result for his BTEC level three diploma in music technology - which is the equivalent of three A-Levels.
He has received a conditional offer from Manchester Metropolitan University on the basis he is awarded one distinction and two merits.
"I was supposed to get my results from around 8am yesterday," he said, speaking to the M.E.N.
"I started to get concerned at about 9am and went on UCAS and they didn’t have anything so I started panicking.
"I tweeted the college at 11am and they acknowledged it and said there was a technical issue and that they were working to resolve it.
"I was told to email the exam office and they told me all they knew was that it was a technical issue."
Sam's course is practical based, and due to the coronavirus pandemic, he and his classmates were unable to finish the course at college.
He was given some written work to do at home, and the rest of his results were due to be based on predicated grades from the last two years.
"I am worried that if I don’t have the grades, I have missed out on getting a place through clearing as it is first come first serve," Sam said.
"It seems to just be a problem with Manchester College. My band mate did the exact same course in Bolton and she has got her results.
"I tweeted UCAS last night but if it gets much later and I still haven’t had my results, I am going to have to call and explain what’s happened."
A statement on the college website on Friday morning said: "We apologise for the delays some students are experiencing in receiving their Level 3 BTEC results from Pearson awarding organisation.
"We have been in contact with the organisation for the last 24 hours and are continuing to work with them to obtain students grades.
"We are now starting to receive Level 3 BTEC results from this awarding organisation and are sending them to students as they come through.
"Please continue to check your student address on a regular basis.
"We have assurances from the awarding organisation that this delay will be resolved quickly."
