Manchester United came from a goal down to beat West Ham at the London Stadium.
It really was a game of two halves as the visitors put in their worst display since receiving a Tottenham thumping in the opening half.
Tomas Soucek headed West Ham in front but they should have had more. Sebastian Haller rounded Dean Henderson but stumbled instead of putting the ball into the back of the net.
In the second half Paul Pogba 's fine strike from range got United back into the game before Mason Greenwood put them ahead with a neat finish.
Rashford, a substitute at half-time, wrapped up the win for United, breaking through the West Ham defence and dinking the ball home.
Manchester United player ratings
Dean Henderson - 6
Came in for the injured De Gea and had a busy afternoon. Was lucky that most of West Ham's shots were off target or straight at him. Great ball to release Fernandes for Pogba's goal.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 5
Recovered brilliantly to deny West Ham doubling their lead at the end of the first half.
Victor Lindelof - 5
Coudn't cope with West Ham's attack in the first half. Pressure was eased off him thanks to a better team performance in the second.
Harry Maguire - 5
Nothing flash. Nothing wrong. A relatively boring performance for the United captain.
Alex Telles - 5
His crossing wasn't up to his usual standard and was beaten easily more than once by West Ham players.
Scott McTominay - 6
Worked hard in what was a scrappy midfield contest. Always a nuisance.
Paul Pogba - 6
Great goal to get United back into the game and repaid Solskjaer's faith to start him.
Donny van de Beek - 3
Hooked at half-time. Although it could have just easily been Pogba who received the bullet. Not a good day for the Dutchman who was out-muscled and out-paced by West Ham's midfield.
Anthony Martial - 4
Limped off in the second half. Failed to look a threat and his disappointing season continues.
Edinson Cavani - 3
Looked sharp in his movement but it felt every touch or lay off went to the opposition. Not a good day at the office. Hooked at half-time.
Mason Greenwood - 6
Quiet afternoon for the youngster before popping up with a goal. Superb finish.
Marcus Rashford ('45) - 7
Brought in immediate energy and width. Looked good when driving forward with the ball. Hit the post but made up for it with a neat finish.
Bruno Fernandes ('45) - 7
His sheer presence alone had a positive impact on the team. Latched on to Henderson's ball well and set up Pogba for his goal. Should have had another assist but Rashford hit the post.
Juan Mata ('62) - 6
Brilliant assist for Rashford.
