Manchester City will be hoping to secure the Premier League title by defeating Chelsea this evening.

City are just two points away from winning the league for a fifth time but will face a tough test against their fellow Champions League finalists.

Both clubs enjoyed historic weeks as they advanced to the final in Istanbul on May 29, City with a 4-1 aggregate win over Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea by defeating Real Madrid 3-1 over two legs.

With the team's meeting in Europe's biggest game in just three weeks, today's match will have a bit of extra spice to it but Pep Guardiola has insisted he isn't looking ahead to the final.

"Right now, there is not one thought about the final as we don’t have the Premier League in our hands," the Blues boss said.

"When we have the PL, tomorrow in the next weeks, then the focus will be on the CL and everything related it. But I’m so cautious to think if you don’t have it then don’t talk. We still need points."

Predicted Man City line up vs Chelsea

Manchester City are set to play Chelsea at the Etihad in the Premier League on Saturday and victory for Pep Guardiola's side would see them win the Premier League title for the fifth time - the third league title of the Catalan's tenure.

The Blues will become very familiar with the London side in the next few weeks, looking to atone for their FA Cup semi-final defeat this weekend, although the clash almost seems a dress rehearsal for the Champions League final later this month in Turkey.

Guardiola made multiple changes for City's defeat to Chelsea at Wembley in the FA Cup, but it's expected squad rotation will be minimal here from the side that triumphed against Paris Saint-Germain, with the Premier League title now within touching distance.
