A 23-year-old has been charged with attempted murder after a man was left with life-threatening injuries following an incident in Bolton.
Police were called to Winchester Way in Breightmet at around 10.20pm on Monday (July 13) following reports of an assault.
A 46-year-old man was found with 'life-threatening injuries'. He was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a 'serious' condition.
Christopher Walton, of Mobberley Road, Bolton, has been charged with attempted murder, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court today (July 16).
