Maisie Smith has admitted that she's worried about how she's going to be able to juggle EastEnders filming simultaneously with her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

The soap star, 19, is one of the six remaining celebrity contestants left to dance it out for the all-important Glitterball trophy.

And it seems as though Maisie's time management skills might be put to the test as she will have to balance both of her career ventures at the same time.

Appearing on The One Show alongside pro dance partner Gorka Marquez, Maisie said if she and Gorka make it to the final she will be expected to learn up to three new dance routines over the "next couple of weeks".

And when quizzed on how she's managing to juggle her dance rehearsals alongside filming for EastEnders, the teen said: "I am a busy bee right now.

"I have just been eating a lot, a lot of coffee and just sleeping as much as I can otherwise I don't know how I stay awake.

"Honestly, especially because the next couple of weeks on the show - if we're still here - you learn two dances and then three dances in a week and film EastEnders at the same time."

She added: "I don't know how I'm going to manage it."

Maisie has been appearing on the hit soap since 2008 - making her debut when she was just six years old.

Playing Tiffany Butcher all these years, Maisie is set to showcase her latest dance routine with Gorka as the pair take on the Little Shop Of Horrors for Musical Week this weekend.

It comes as fans were forced to bid farewell to Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo and pro partner Aljaz Skorjanec, after the pair were placed in the bottom two against Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing and pro Karen Hauer.

This coming weekend is set to bring all the action as Maisie and Gorka gear up to perform the Jive to the theme tune from Little Shop Of Horrors, a 1986 Musical film.
