Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague shares adorable throwback to her as a little girl

THIS Love Island star has left fans cooing after she shared an adorable throwback picture of herself as a little girl.

Molly-Mae Hague posted the shot of herself on Instagram and told fans it was taken in the early noughties.

The 22-year-old star has crimped hair in the cute snap and is clutching a Slush Puppy while smiling sweetly at the camera.

Molly-Mae captioned the photograph: "Waver kit in 2002? Ok girl."

Since finding fame on the 2019 series of Love Island, Molly-Mae - who is dating her co-star, boxer Tommy Fury - has spoken about her childhood.

The star was born with a large strawberry mark at the top of her forehead, just in front of her parting. It can just be made out in the photo under her fringe.

In a YouTube video, the blonde beauty told fans in January: "I was born with a very, very large strawberry birthmark."

Holding up a pink makeup blender to her forehead, Molly continued: "Essentially, it looked like this.

"It was bright red, it was super large, it stuck out of my head quite far.

"It's quite shocking, I didn't realise."

Speaking about her decision to get it removed as a teen, Molly added: "At around 12 or 13 I got it removed, before I started secondary school - my parents, they didn't know if I'd be bullied for it but luckily I never was.

"I just wasn't confident about it, as I got older the colour kind of faded."

She went on to tell fans that their own birthmarks are "cool", sharing: "Own them, rock them. The only reason I got mine removed was because it was in such a prominent area, right on my head."

Meanwhile, on Thursday Molly-Mae opened up about her latest health woe after being diagnosed with endometriosis.

The brave star explained that she sought help after suffering excruciating pain during her periods and said she is going to have surgery in a bid to help.
