Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard enjoy romantic night away after they’re accused of ‘fake’ romance

LOVE Island’s Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard have gone away for a romantic evening together after they were accused of faking their romance.

The couple headed to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve for a bit of quality time together amongst nature following Maura’s successful Bohoo launch yesterday.

Former grid girl Maura couldn’t have looked happier as she shared a picture of herself with the ballroom dancer and told fans they were on a “break away”.

It’s been a hectic time for the pair since leaving Love Island as they have both been inundated with work offers.

But their romance has faced its struggles with fans constantly questioning whether it’s real or not.

After Maura’s bash last night, cruel trolls claimed their lips didn’t touch when they kissed on camera.

One fan posted: "Ummm sorry but I've never seen such a NON KISS ever! Hilarious who are they trying to kid ! Money money money!"

Another announced: "The most awkward kiss award goes to...."

Others chipped in: "Literally zero chemistry between the two of them!" and: "That looks like he's kissing his mum."

Maura meanwhile hit back at claims she had been flirting with Greg O’Shea.

She told us:  "It's 2019. Just because I'm photographed doesn't mean I'm flirting or sleeping with him.

"If I was photographed with a girl nothing would be said about it.

"It's a bit ridiculous. I'm with Curtis, as everyone knows, and Greg is a friend."

However she is yet to make her relationship with Curtis official since leaving the villa, as the pair vow to take things slowly.

"Just because people pressure you into labelling something doesn't mean you have to do something you don't want to do," said Maura.

"We're on the same page and taking things slow. I don't want to rush into anything. I wouldn't have before Love Island, so why do it now?

"We're happy with how things are going, so we won't let people pressure us.
