Love Island finale: Where was Laura Whitmore's heart-shaped outfit from?

Laura Whitmore‘s Love Island wardrobe has prompted almost as much excitement as the show itself, with the host’s outfits often prompting frenzied Google searches and causing items to quickly sell out.

For the finale, which aired on Sunday evening, the interest in Whitmore’s fashion choices reached new heights, with searches for “pantsuit” spiking as viewers fervently tried to find out where the Irish presenter’s scarlet three-piece suit was from.

The suit was in fact a bespoke garment made by British tailor Joshua Kane.

It featured high waisted flared trousers and a cropped blazer with gold buttons.

But the suit’s most notable component was its halterneck waistcoat, which featured a heart-shaped cutout on the neck and a high collar.

Whitmore paired the suit with matching scarlet platform heels and a sparkly hair clip that read “Love”.

“Just completely perfect,” commented Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown while model Charli Howard wrote: “You look incredible”.

Other fans who had watched Whitmore on the finale praised her for paying tribute to former Love Island host Caroline Flack after her death earlier this month.

A visibly emotional Whitmore read a brief tribute to her friend in the first part of the show, explaining: “The past week has been extremely difficult coming to terms with the death of our friend and colleague Caroline.”

A reel of clips from Flack’s time on the show, including her infamous slow-motion walk, was then aired.

“Lovely tribute,” commented one person beneath Whitmore’s Instagram post.

Another added: “You did Caroline proud tonight. It can’t have been easy. Well done, she’d be very proud of you”.
