It's probably fair to say that people were left a little bit perplexed when the government announced that it was imposing a law that prevents sexual activity between those who do not live in the same household.
The new guidelines, dubbed the 'sex ban' form part of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 bill, state that: 'No person may participate in a gathering which takes place in a public or private place indoors, and consists of two or more persons'.
While this makes sense on the whole due to the strict social-distancing measures that are in place, people found that it being made illegal was a step too far.
Now Lorraine Kelly has had her say when she joined The Last Leg panel on Friday night.
And it included a cheeky comment on the way people will be able to bend the rules in their favour.
The telly star joked that people could get past the rules by pretending their lover is actually their cleaner so they can sneak into their house.
Lorraine said on the Channel 4 show: "Who's going to police it anyway? What you could do is pretend your boyfriend or girlfriend is your cleaner.
"You can have them round and do whatever you want to do and then have them do some ironing or clean the loo."
And while this may be the get around used by some, this is highly not recommended as the latest guidelines only allow people to meet in groups of up to six, outdoors with social distancing.
