Location of every Bradford pop-up Covid PCR testing site

BRADFORD Council has revealed the locations of all of its PCR testing sites around the district as Bradford aims to tackle it's rising Covid case numbers.

In the past week cases have gone up 88 per cent as the Indian 'Delta' variant has spread around communities in the district, with cases reported in almost every corner of the district.

People are being urged to get tested, even if they have been vaccinated or are displaying no symptoms of Covid-19, in a bid to contain the spread and bring the level of infection in the district down.

It's feared if case numbers don't fall it could put more pressure on hospitals and lead to more deaths from the disease.

Bradford Council is holding pop-up testing sites around the district every day where people can go for free to get tested.

As well as testing, all people aged 25 and over or who are clinically vulnerable are being urged to book their Covid-19 vaccine if they have not already had it to protect themselves from the virus.

This is where the daily Covid-19 testing sites will be throughout June:

Monday - Asda Keighley

Tuesday - Tesco Queensbury

Wednesday - Asda Shipley

Thursday - Tesco Great Horton Road

Friday - Tesco Canal Road

There are additional pop-up sites this weekend at Richard Dunn Sports Centre and Whetley Mills car park, Hockney Road.

From June 14 to 18 there are pop-up sites at Richard Dunn, Shipley Pool and Flockton Road car park, and next weekend sites are at Richard Dunn, Shipley Pool and Whetley Mills car park.

No appointment is necessary at any of the sites and people can just turn up and get tested for free.
