Location, Location, Location fans all say the same things about ‘fussy’ couple

LOCATION, Location, Location is back with a brand new series on Channel 4 and viewers complained about a 'fussy' couple on the show.

TV's favourite Dynamic duo Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer returned and had a tough job ahead of them finding the perfect homes for prospective buyers.

Phil was tasked with finding a very specific house for married couple, Lauren and Noel who had a budget of about £600,000.

They were moving 200 miles north from Northumberland to Morpeth so they could enjoy the seaside and plenty of space the town has to offer.

But Lauren admitted she was very "fussy" and the couple listed their requirements for their new home.

It needed to have five bedrooms so they could use one as a play room for the two kids, somewhere to charge their electric car, two family rooms and a big enough garden to kick a football around in.

One of the most important needs was that the house had 'character' and was not a new build.

Phil first took them to a terrace home that is currently a B&B, which they fell in love with but it didn't have parking and the split level garden was not ideal for two young children.

The next home was a new build, but 'ticked all the boxes' and the couple was almost won over but the lack of privacy in the backyard and not having a kitchen overlooking the garden was deal breaker.

Phil then took them to a 'perfect home' in a nearby village but it was too far out of town.

The next 'upside down' house that Phil took them to saw Lauren storm out because it was 'not her style'.

Phil tried again with another new build but the couple were not willing to put in a minimum offer of £600,000.

They eventually decided to buy a lot on new development and had to wait eight months for it to be finished, but at least they got what they wanted.

Viewers watching at home could not believe the couple could not find a home given the budget and location.

"Is there not a 600k house available, that will "tick their boxes," complained one fan on Twitter.

Another added: "Budget 600k. Found a house for 600k. Didn’t want to pay 600k."

And a third wrote: "£600,000 is their budget?! ARE YOU JOKING?!
