LIVERPOOL are reportedly planning a double swoop for Rennes ace Jeremy Doku and Leeds star Raphinha.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to revamp his squad and the pair are said to be at the forefront of his plans.
The Merseyside giants have been keeping tabs on Belgian teen sensation Doku since the summer.
Doku, 19, was one of Belgium's stand-out stars at Euro 2020 and made 44 appearances for Rennes last season, scoring twice.
He's also featured in four games for the Ligue 1 side this term, and they reportedly want £38million for the winger they brought from Anderlecht for £22m.
Despite his hefty price tag, the Reds remain undeterred and are in pole position to land Doku, the Mail reports.
Liverpool could be short of attacking options over the winter when Mo Salah and Sadio Mane leave for the African Cup of Nations.
However, it is not likely any move gets completed in January with a summer swoop more likely.

The Reds are also one of the favourites to land Leeds ace Raphinha who they like a lot, his agent Deco has claimed.
But the Barcelona legend, 44, revealed that Liverpool are one of several top sides chasing the Brazilian.
Klopp's side were on the verge of bringing the winger to Anfield earlier this season but Leeds wanted to hold onto him for another season.
Ex-Chelsea midfielder Deco said: "There are certainly many clubs interested in him.
"Liverpool do like him and there were some approaches, but nothing official. Leeds wanted to keep him for another season."
Raphinha's been in rare form for Leeds this season, scoring three goals in seven games, and is said to be happy at the club.
But he has got ambitions to play at a higher level, so he is likely to want a move away from Elland Road at some point.
Marca Bielsa's side are aware of Raphinha's desires and will plan to demand a hefty fee for him when the time comes, Deco went on to say.
He added: "Raphinha is happy at Leeds, but there will certainly come a time when he wants to take a step up in his career and move forward.
"He has three years left on his contract, but there's nothing in it that states how long he must stay for or that prevents transfers.

"Leeds are aware of that (contract) and will want to sell him for a big sum, while Raphinha will end up progressing in his career."
The 24-year-old's value sky-rocketed last week when he banged in a penalty and provided two assists on his Brazil debut as they cruised to a 3-1 victory over Venezuela.
He came on at half-time with Brazil side 1-0 down, but his substitution would turn the game on its head.
