The final Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon events take place in Liverpool today.
The 1 Mile (starts 1pm), 10K (starts 8.45am), Half Marathon (starts 9am) and Marathon (starts 10am) take place today and the courses start and finish in the city centre.
If you’re planning on driving around Liverpool today, we’ve rounded up the roads and areas affected. Diversions will be in place throughout Liverpool to ensure traffic avoids the roads that are completely closed to vehicles.

For those attending the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, there’s plenty of public transport and car parks.
It’s worth noting that the 10K on Penny Lane starts at a different location. There are free shuttle buses from 7am to 8am at the Liverpool One bus station to Penny Lane. There will be no parking available at or near the 10K.
Both Parliament St and the Strand will be closed to vehicles. Some roads will be closed from 6am on a rolling basis to allow police and traffic management teams to begin work on the 26-mile course.
