Imagine That! Science and Discovery Centre in Liverpool has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland.

Children can take part in a variety of festive craft workshops and activities this December.

In Imagine That! ’s Slime Factory, kids can create snowman slime, watch a magical science show and get messy in giant tubs of slime.

Children will also be able to create their own pot of ‘snow’ and, if the weather permits, they’ll head outside and enjoy a flurry of magical snowflakes.

There’s also a Christmas Chocolate Factory that the whole family can visit and make chocolate reindeer cones.

For every cone made, Imagine That! will make a donation to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

That’s not all, as every child will take home a photo, light-up snowman decoration and a Christmas fridge magnet.

Manager Aly Fielding said: “We just love Christmas at Imagine That! and this year we’ve added some fab festive workshops the whole family will love. We’ve taken our ‘snow’ back outside for Christmas and there are so many new wonderful festive crafts for children to make and take home.

“Those with a sweet tooth will love the new chocolate factory we’ve set up in the science area and our holiday bingo is always a big hit with adults and children. Nobody leaves Imagine That! empty handed, especially not at Christmas! It will be great to see children leaving with bags full of festive creations they have made.”

Families can book into the centre for three hours. Groups will spend 45 minutes in each of the four areas, which include the Imagination Village where you will find the magic reindeer food factory.

Admission by advance booking only. For opening times and prices visit the website.

Imagine That! Science and Discovery Centre is at 26-32 Faraday Rd, Wavertree Technology Park, Liverpool, L13 1EH.
