Dejan Kulusevski 'made available'

The 19-year-old has been on loan at Parma this season with his performances said to have attracted the interest of the Reds.

And with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan also said to be interested, Italian outlet FcInterNews.it, cited by Inside Futbol, claim Atalanta will look to sell this month having placed a €40m asking-price on his head.

However, the report also claims Liverpool wouldn’t consider making a move for the winger until the summer.

Jorge Jesus press conference

After Everton, it was Jorge Jesus’ turn...

Everton Ribeiro press conference

Flamengo, rather unhelpfully, decided to hold their press conferences the same time as Duncan Ferguson.

So while I’ve been blogging about Everton for our Blues-supporting friends, Everton has been talking about Liverpool - Flamengo captain Everton Ribeiro, that is (He’s in the below picture, somewhere).

Liverpool 'make Timo Werner u-turn'

After signing Takumi Minamino, Liverpool are reportedly no longer interested in signing Timo Werner.

German football expert Raphael Honigstein believes a move for the RB Leipzig hotshot now appears to be out of the question when speaking on Transfer Talk, cited by the Daily Star.

I was probably expecting Liverpool to make a move for Timo Werner. He could have been the fourth guy, but it didn’t happen. Minamino is a lot cheaper but perhaps also has more value in terms of the improvement and the places he can go.

Under-23s back in action

After losing to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup, Liverpool’s youngsters are back in action...

Back again

Told you I’d be back!

Plenty went on in Jurgen Klopp’s press conference which you can relive below.

But we have the latest Liverpool news and transfer gossip to keep on top of!

Jurgen Klopp press conference LIVE

Jurgen Klopp is facing the media this morning ahead of tomorrow’s FIFA Club World Cup final.

With Ian Doyle in place in Doha ahead of an 11am start-time, follow LIVE updates in our special blog HERE.

Don’t worry though, that’s not the end of your Liverpool news and transfers. I’ll be back to keep you all in the loop later today.

See you on the other side...

Liverpool 'hold Havertz talks'

Liverpool have reportedly held talks with Kai Havertz and his agent according to reports in Germany.

Bild claim both the Reds and Manchester United have made contract with the Bayer Leverkusen star about a potential move to the Premier League as they look to see off interest from Bayern Munich.

However, the report claims the starlet is in no rush to leave his current employers, making a move in January extremely unlikely with him said to be willing to stay put until the end of next season.

And that’s before you even touch the rumoured £111m price-tag.

Here are some of the best Liverpool stories you might have missed this morning...

Doyle in Doha

Ian Doyle’s poised in Doha ahead of open training.

If Virgil van Dijk is again unable to take part fully, he might need to dust off his boots!

Van Dijk fitness blow

This would be a big blow for Liverpool.

The Mirror are reporting that Virgil van Dijk is a major fitness worry for tomorrow’s Club World Cup final.

Having missed Wednesday’s semi-final through illness, the Dutchman did some fitness work on Thursday but was still not able to complete a proper training session.

He is yet to train fully since arriving in Doha and is a big doubt as a result.

Liverpool will be open training at 8.30am with Jurgen Klopp facing the press at 11am so expect this to become clearer later this morning.

Reds linked with Victor Osimhen

Takumi Minamino might have confirmed as Liverpool’s latest signing but the Reds transfer gossip doesn’t stop there!

Sky Sports, cited by The Mirror, report the Reds have joined the race for Lille striker Victor Osimhen but face competition from Chelsea and Tottenham.

The 20-year-old centre-forward has scored nine goals in 17 Ligue 1 games for Lille so far this season, helping to fire his side up to third in the table.

However, it is thought that Lille will not be willing to sell in the January transfer window as they focus on trying to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
