Grujic eyes Liverpool return

Marko Grujic is eyeing a return to Liverpool, admitting it is his ‘dream’ to play for the Reds next season.

The midfielder is currently impressing on loan for Hertha Berlin having found opportunities limited at Anfield.

And, speaking to German outlet Berliner Kurier, via TalkSPORT, he’s highlighted his aim for next season.

My dream is to get the chance in Liverpool next season.

If not, I would be very happy to come back and be part of this project. I’m a Hertha fan. Everything looks very professional and ambitious.

The conditions are wonderful. Berlin deserves European football.

Of course, the club (Liverpool) worries if I do not play well. Most importantly, I collect game practice. We analyse all my games.

All with the context and hope that I will play in Liverpool next year. If it does not work and the club wants to loan me again, I would be very happy to stay another year with Hertha.
