'Sadio Mane down the middle'
Ian Doyle: Eyes down for the sprint to the finishing line with the first of five games in 16 days for Liverpool.
And Jurgen Klopp could well have shown his hand with the team against Manchester United for the game that didn't happen last weekend.
No reason, then, for the Reds boss to change his mind when the rearranged match takes place on Thursday.
So let's make some changes against Southampton today.
Not in defence, though. That has to stay the same.
Midfield is where things can be altered. Fabinho is a definite, but Gini Wijnaldum can be given a go along with Naby Keita, who just gets the nod ahead of Curtis Jones.
The front three must include Mohamed Salah. But I quite fancy sticking Sadio Mane down the middle and Diogo Jota on the left for this one.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita; Salah, Mane, Jota.

'All-change in midfield'
Paul Gorst: With Manchester United at Old Trafford up next for Liverpool, I suspect Jurgen Klopp might rotate for this one tonight.
As Klopp has said repeatedly, the Reds need a perfect end to the campaign to give them any hope of finishing inside the top four, but a home game against Southampton gives them the chance to rest a few, at least.
That does not extend to the back five, however, so it’s Nat Phillips back alongside Ozan Kabak in the centre of defence.
In midfield, there’s a chance for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain against his former club alongside Curtis Jones and Fabinho.
Up top, 29-goal Mo Salah has to keep his place but I’m going to give Diogo Jota the nod in front of Sadio Mane on the left and Roberto Firmino through the middle.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Phillips, Robertson; Fabinho, Jones, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Firmino, Jota.
'Start the front three'
Theo Squires: After Leicester's defeat to Newcastle on Friday night, Liverpool have to close the gap against Southampton today.
As such, I see no need for Jurgen Klopp to rest players today. Afterall, the Reds have had an extra week off and aren't back in action until Thursday.
A surprise returnee last week against Manchester United, had the game gone ahead, Nat Phillips starts in defence to free up Fabinho to play midfield.
Meanwhile, I'll save James Milner for that trip to Old Trafford so Gini Wijnaldum comes in as a captain with Thiago Alcantara completing the engine room.
And let's go with the traditional front three. Mohamed Salah loves playing Southampton, Roberto Firmino set up three goals against the Saints at Anfield last year and Sadio Mane can hopefully silence his former club if they find form with Diogo Jota limited to an impact sub role.
My team (4-3-3): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Phillips, Kabak, Robertson; Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Mane.
