Liverpool fans have mocked a clip of Shakira screaming “I can’t believe it” after their amazing Champions League comeback last season against her hubby Gerard Pique’s Barcelona.
The famous Colombian singer can be seen with her head in her hands as she took in the pulsating clash at Anfield last May.
The Catalan side have opened themselves up for ridicule with the trailer for a new club documentary showing the scene of Shakira watching the semi-final game.
The Reds were beaten 3-0 away at the Camp Nou as Lionel Messi stole the show but against all the odds, Jurgen Klopp’s side turned the tie around at Anfield .
One Liverpool fan tweeted: “They just keep making it worse for themselves (adding a laughing emoji).”
Another fan twisted a line from one of her songs.
He wrote: “Oh baby when you score like that, you make a woman go mad.”
Some supporters were just surprised that Barcelona’s marketing department would refer to a loss when plugging a new documentary.
One wrote: “Why would a club actually air a documentary of a defeat.”
Another said: “I can’t believe this is real.”
In the trailer for the documentary titled “Matchday: Inside Barcelona” Shakira can be seen watching the game with her children.
Shakira has spoken of how she and Barcelona defender Pique manage to balance their family life with their hectic workloads.
While they spend a lot of the time apart, they have managed to keep a tight bond.
There have been doubts about her interest in football but the new video showed how important Barca games are for her.
With Liverpool winning 2-0 she reassures one of her children that it’s okay.
She said: “If it stays like this it doesn’t matter. We’ll go through to the final.”
Seconds later, Georginio Wijnaldum makes it 3-0 and Shakira face is full of horror.
She says: “No, I can’t believe it no.”
Divock Origi and Wijnaldum both got two goals on the night to send Liverpool through to the final in which they beat Tottenham.
