Good evening, Liverpool fans. Here are your evening headlines for Saturday, September 19.
Nuno: Jota is going to the right place
Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo believes Diogo Jota is at “the right place” following his move to Liverpool.
The Portugal international has joined the Reds from the Midlands club in a deal worth a reported £45 million.
Santo paid tribute to Jota on Friday, hours before the forward's move to Anfield was officially announced.
“First I want to apologise for Thursday - sometimes you have to keep things private,” he told reporters.
A £41m+ deal has been agreed to bring the forward to Anfield from Wolves, and he's ready to kick on for Jurgen Klopp.

Sancho reacts to Thiago transfer
Borussia Dortmund and England winger Jadon Sancho was as impressed as anyone by Liverpool’s capture of Thiago, which was confirmed on Friday.
The 20-year-old, who has been a target for Premier League rivals Manchester United throughout the summer, ‘liked’ a post from the new Liverpool signing on Instagram .
Thiago was pictured in his new kit standing in the tunnel at Anfield.
United fans are still hopeful that Sancho will play against Thiago later in the season, though a deal to bring the youngster to Old Trafford looks increasingly unlikely this summer.
Former Sky presenter questions Liverpool’s spending
Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has described Liverpool’s approach in the transfer market as “confusing”.
The Reds’ quiet summer changed almost in an instant this week following the signing of Thiago from Bayern Munich and Jota from Wolves.
Yet Keys, now working for beIN SPORTS, has made clear his view on the club’s transfer policy.
Commenting on Tottenham’s move to sign Gareth Bale, he wrote on social media: “It’s great to have him back in our league. But I find their spending - and Liverpool’s - confusing.”
But Keys seemingly hasn’t taken into account the work of sporting director Michael Edwards , who has managed to ensure that the immediate outlay for Thiago and Jota is relatively small.
