THERE is a large police presence in Edge Hill tonight after a car smashed into the front of a house.

The badly damage vehicle could still be seen on Queensland Street, where it has mounted the pavement and crashed through a garden wall.

At the height of the incident, more than seven police vehicles were in attendance. Although quieter now, officers are still at the scene as an investigation begins.
