Traffic is building on the M60 near Stockport Pyramid this morning after a crash.
Two lanes are closed on the clockwise carriageway between junction one for Travis Brow and junction two for Stockport Road.
According to traffic alert service Inrix, congestion is back to junction 27.
There is slow traffic in the area and congestion is building.
In a tweet, Highways England North West said: "The #M60 clockwise #J1 (#A5145 #Stockport) to #J2 (#Cheadle) 2 lanes have been closed due to a collision.
"@NWAmbulance are currently at scene, Traffic Officers are on their way to the area to assist.
"Congestion building on the approach."

'Long delays' in area as accident is moved to hard shoulder
The accident has now been moved over to the hard shoulder.
There are still 'long delays' up the crash.
Traffic is also slowing on the other side of the carriageway as people look at the accident.
Travel time is around 45 minutes.
ALL traffic has now been stopped
According to traffic alert service Inrix, ALL traffic is being temporarily held up to the incident.
Queues are stationary.
