Lionel Messi scores two in PSG win including epic Panenka but denied hat-trick by Mbappe who steals late pen and MISSES

LIONEL MESSI scored twice as his epic Panenka penalty sealed a comeback Paris Saint-Germain win against RB Leipzig.

But Kylian Mbappe denied the legendary Argentine a hat-trick after stealing his late penalty… before MISSING it.

The two superstars started at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday with fellow attacker Neymar missing.

And Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG got off to a flyer when Mbappe opened the scoring with just nine minutes on the clock.

However, Leipzig fought back when summer signing Andre Silva netted in the 28th minute.

The Germans then went ahead in the second half thanks to a 57th minute effort from Nordi Mukiele.

But former Barcelona ace Messi had other ideas.

The icon levelled the scores just ten minutes later with a smart finish.

And Messi then stepped up to take a penalty in the 74th minute.

However, the veteran decided to net it in style with a classy Panenka chip.

With PSG 3-2 ahead and moving into the final seconds, they won yet another penalty.

Messi looked set to take it in order to complete his treble.
