Lindsie Chrisley says she found out about estranged dad Todd’s COVID-19 diagnosis on Instagram

TODD Chrisley’s daughter Lindsie confessed she was “really sad” to find out about her estranged father’s coronavirus diagnosis on Instagram.

The Chrisley Knows Best star, 30, said despite the serious illness, she has still remained to have “no contact whatsoever” with her 51-year-old dad.

In an interview with The Ashley, the blonde-haired TV personality revealed fan messages and her sister’s post was how she learned the news:

“I found out that he was diagnosed with COVID-19 when my direct messages started blowing up on Instagram and I was sent Savannah’s post.

“It made me really sad to see he had been hospitalized,” she said.

Lindsie has been estranged from her family since August 2019 when Todd and his wife Julie were indicted by a federal grand jury for tax evasion.

She was accused by her dad and step-mother of maintaining a relationship with the tax investigator and their relationship crumbled soon after.

Because of their long-standing feud, she has not spoken to anyone in her family about Todd’s diagnosis.

“We have no contact whatsoever and I have not reached out,” she admitted.

Lindsie also revealed to the outlet that she was sick with what she believed was coronavirus at the same time as Todd.

“I believe that [my dad and I] were probably sick at the same time. I was quarantined from [my son] Jackson and [my husband] Will for seven days and at that time.

“Georgia was still waiting on testing kits so I was unable to be tested. I had a really high fever for five days and the dry cough,” she said.

Yesterday, Todd’s daughter Savannah, 22, announced her businessman father was diagnosed with the novel virus.

She shared a lengthy message with fans on Instagram: “Dad was diagnosed with the coronavirus about 2.5 weeks ago..and I have never been so scared in my life.

“When everything started with COVID-19 I was like a lot of mindset was ‘Wash your hands, don’t touch people, and you’ll be ok…'

“BUT BOY HAS THAT IRRESPONSIBLE MINDSET CHANGED!” she wrote to her two million followers.

Savannah continued: “When dad started getting sick I immediately started worrying...he and I are the worriers of the bunch.

“After a couple days mom and I talked him into going to urgent care...he went in and he was showing all symptoms of COVID-19 so they tested him.”

She said her dad’s symptoms “were worsening as days went on” after seven days of being quarantined by himself.

Thankfully, Todd’s health took a turn for the better and he is on his way to being fully recovered.

“DAD IS HOME AND DOING WELL! He said he feels 75% better!! Within the past couple days he’s kinda been a smarta**

“So we know he’s definitely on the mend! I mean that mischievous smile isn’t ever gonna give up,” she updated fans on Thursday.
