After over two years of waiting and six weeks of series 2, we now the identity of Andrew Earlham's killer on Liar and viewers are in shock!
The many twists and turns of the ITV drama's second series threw up all manner of potential suspects, including some new characters who have come into the centre of the action.
There was the very shady character Oliver and his dark past connection to rapist Earlham; Laura Nielson's sister, rape victim Winnie's husband Carl and even Earlham's son Luke.
But in an absolutely gripping finale the murderer was revealed to be Laura after the whole series had focused on the fact she was being framed for the crime!
A fraught last cat and mouse chase between her and her rapist Earlham ended with a scuffle that saw Laura slash his neck.
And the outcome stunned many of the large audience who tuned in. One reacted: "Well that was a plot twist. Didn’t expect that!!! Always good to be kept guessing" and another tweeted: "I did not expect that!!"
However, others viewers have accused Liar writers Jack and Harry Williams for being lazy with the outcome, with a disappointed fan posting: "So it was Laura all along? Producers definitely got bored and gave up writing series 3."
