Liam Reardon has been left grovelling to Millie Court, telling her he's "very, very sorry," after his Casa Amor cheating was exposed at the end of Friday's recoupling.

While Liberty and Jake have been bookies favourites to win the new series from day one, Millie and Liam were rapidly gathering pace in the betting, with their odds shortening as fans started to earmark them as potential Love Island winners.

However, that all changed with Casa Amor, when it took Liam just hours to kiss new girl Lillie during a game of Truth or Dare.

And, while he did talk about Millie a lot, she was clearly far from his head when he, firstly shared a bed with Lillie and then kissed her again.

Liam returned to the main villa alone in Friday's recoupling, leaving Millie with a huge smile on her face.

But that soon turned to a frown when Lillie walked in to drop a 'truth bomb' and reveal just how close she'd got to Liam, telling host Laura Whitmore her interest in him was "reciprocated."

Lillie's revelations rocked the villa and on Sunday, viewers will see Liam try to make amends with Millie in the immediate aftermath.

Wasting no time in pulling Millie for a chat round the fire pit, he tells her says: “I’m very, very sorry," with her replying: "You just don’t do that. I wouldn’t do that to someone.”

She adds: There were six girls in there Liam and you happen to have found a connection with one of them. That just shows the connection we had wasn’t enough for you.”

He responds: "I didn’t want to be in that position. I thought ‘right, I've got to give myself the opportunity, I'm here for a reason’ and I didn’t know what you were doing up here.”

Liam's apologies are then thrown into disarray when Millie receives a text instructing her to leave the villa to meet Lillie.

Sitting down with her, Millie asks: "I want to get your point of view. What happened? Start to finish really, how he spoke to you, how you got on.”
