Lewis Capaldi has reflected on his two years of ‘absolute madness’ with an epic throwback shot.
The chart-topping Scottish singer, 23, took to social media to share his amazement at how far his career had come in just a matter of years.
In the adorable Instagram story, a long-haired Lewis had a similar cheeky charm as he beamed whilst posing outside the O2 Arena in 2018.
He was supporting Sam Smith during his performance at the time.
“To be announcing my own headline show here less than two years later is absolute madness,” he wrote alongside the shot.
In the snap he donned a dark hoodie and jeans in a casual look.
The two-time BRIT Award winner has had to add an extra date to his O2 lineup after tickets were whipped up in seconds.
On February 21, he shared his excitement that the O2 location had sold out so quickly.
“WE JUST SOLD OUT 2 NIGHTS AT THE O2 ARENA IN LONDON IN 1 SECOND!!!!!!!! 40,000 OF US F**KKKKKK! I HAVE NO WORDS x” he gushed.
Lewis will be heading on tour at the start of March and will be starting in Manchester before ticking off locations such as Glasgow, Dublin, Cardiff, London and Aberdeen.
The Scotsman will also be taking to the stage with best pal Niall Horan as his supporting act in the following months.
In what has been a whirlwind week for the Someone You Loved musician, he also made waves at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday.
Capaldi took home the awards for Best Song and Best New Artist during the ceremony, and proudly went on stage for a hilarious acceptance speech where he refers to his ex-girlfriend and current Love Islander Paige and even his late grandmother.
Really getting into the party spirit, he held a bottle of Buckfast whilst he took to the stage.
Although his appearance might have somewhat changed since the cute snap, Lewis is going from strength to strength on his pursuit of world domination for his musical talents.
