Lanarkshiremother thanks paramedics who saved her son's life after he suffered a cardiac arrest at the end of Old Firm match earlier this year .
Young Celtic his fan Joseph Higgins went to a fixture with his mates and his brother in Hampden on April 17th. He ended the match due to poor health and fainted in the concourse area of the National Stadium.

Panic His group, however, were unable to bring him back, so Scottish Ambulance Service responders quickly rushed to the scene and administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation before rushing Joseph to hospital.
To this day, he says he has no recollection of the dramatic events that unfolded.
Joseph said. I have very little recollection of what actually happened.
His mother, Ruth, 55, added: . The message I got was that he passed out.
"When I was in the hospital, I don't think I could handle the severity of the situation. When he got home, he actually sank.
"Survival from cardiac arrest. But being in the right place at the right time and having the right trained staff by his side saved his life.”
Joseph said: Diagnosed with an undiagnosed hereditary heart defect, which turned out to be the cause of his sudden collapse, he spent 47 nights at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Golden Jubilee Hospital.
Despite this ordeal, Hoopsdaft's Josef renewed his Celtic season ticket while still undergoing treatment in hospital, and plans to return to the sick stadium in the near future. He says he's not upset by the thought of it.
In the meantime, Joseph's family is grateful to Thomas McCallum, a student paramedic at Glasgow East Station, and Courtney Elaine Bracelein, a newly certified paramedic, who rushed to his aid. I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to
