Iconic rockers The Jesus and Mary Chain will make a massive live return next month.

The East Kilbride band was originally booked to play the iconic Barrowlands Ballroom in March last year, but the shows were cancelled due to uncertainty with coronavirus restrictions.

The band will finally take to the famous stage on November 14 and 15, and will also play a special intimate gig on November 13 at Stereo in Glasgow city centre.

Tickets for both the gig at Stereo and the first night at the Barrowlands are sold out, but there are still tickets available for the shows on November 15.

This will then be followed by dates in London and Manchester.

They will be playing their cult classic album Darklands in full at the shows, which was released in 1987 and has since sold over 100,000 copies.

You can find tickets for the shows here.
