A man shared his amusement after he discovered a hidden message in a coat pocket.

Will Harte, a comedian from Reading, received the coat six months ago as a gift from his nan.

But he only came across the message after he noticed that the pocket flap had been tucked in, reports Daily Star.

On Twitter, he wrote: “Got a nice coat as a present from my grandma about six months ago. Been wearing it no problem.

“Noticed today one of the pockets on the front was tucked in. Enjoy the before and after.”

It said "immigration enforcement" on the pocket

In the first picture, he is seen wearing a cosy dark raincoat - nothing out of the ordinary here.

But in the second picture, with the pocket flap exposed, the words "immigration enforcement" were revealed.

Therefore, it's likely that the jacket had previously belonged to an immigration worker, who must have donated it to a charity shop.

It made his followers "belly laugh"

Will asked his nan where she picked the coat up from in the hopes of being able to debunk the mystery, but it didn't get him anywhere.

He added: "Her response to me asking where she got it from wasn’t reassuring. She ‘can’t remember.’”

One said: "This just made me belly laugh."

A second added: "Hope she won it in a fight."

A third also wrote: "Friend of mine, 6 foot 8, struggled to find a ski suit.

"Went to army surplus shop, bought khaki overalls with mysterious squiggles stencilled on.

"On a slope in Austria, an Israeli skiied up to him and said: ‘I think we were in the same tank on the Golan Heights, no?'”

And another laughed: “I know a bloke whose wife buys his shirts from the Barrows, Glasgow.

“He wore one with a tasteful logo on a business trip to Germany.

“A German colleague asked where he got it.

“‘Dunno. Wife buys my shirts. Why do you want to know?’

“‘Because that’s a German telephone company logo’.”
