Leonardo thinks Mbappe will stay at PSG
Even though Mbappe has been reluctant to sign a new contract at the Parc des Princes, club director Leonardo has said he thinks the France international will stay beyond this season.
Eyebrows were raised when PSG rejected a huge offer from Real Madrid in the summer. Should Mbappe's contract offer stay unsigned, then he could feasibly discuss terms with clubs overseas from January 1 about moving clubs for free at the end of the season.
Speaking about Mbappe, Leonardo has said Madrid's offer did not reach their valuation and didn't rule out a possible u-turn from the forward.
"I don't think anyone here sees the future without him," he said. "I don't see Kylian leaving at the end of this season. Mbappe's relationship with PSG is deep."

Mignolet has his say on Mbappe, Neymar and Messi
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, now of Brugge, has said he didn't feel daunted by facing Mbappe, Messi and Neymar on Wednesday.
In their first game starting as a trio, there were some good moments in attack and some instances where chemistry was clearly absent. As a result, Mignolet has said he had little to do.
"I didn’t really have a lot of work to do, we played very well collectively," he said. "We didn’t concede chances against a team with an incredible attack. You can’t mark them one on one, they have so much quality to get past you."
Mbappe a doubt for Lyon game
PSG would have been disappointed to only draw with Brugge on Wednesday and their evening got even worse when it was confirmed Mbappe picked up an injury. The youngster was replaced by Mauro Icardi after just 51 minutes in Belgium with apparent ankle and toe issues.
The Parisian giants are set to face Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday and according to reports in France, they will have to do so without their no. 7.
PSG will reportedly evaluate his situation and offer an update on his condition on Friday before the weekend's match.
