Time to make the jump back to Liverpool news and transfers LIVE now, folks.
See you on the other side!
Klopp drops Shaqiri hint
Has Jurgen Klopp hinted Xherdan Shaqiri has a long-term future at Liverpool?
"First of all it was a super game; a super game in a quite, I'm not sure, unfamiliar position. He did it really, really well,' Klopp said.
"There is no doubt about Shaq's quality, there was never any doubt and in the moment everything looks really, really good, it looks promising and we will see."
Arteta on Liverpool's weaknesses
"They are getting better and better. They have less weaknesses. They are a fantastic side.
"The issues with the weakness of opponents are how many times you get to exploit them and how many opportunities you get to do that. As well with all the incredible things they have, you know that they're going to try and still able to do them.
"I want to focus on what we can do, what we have to do and control our own aspects."
Arteta on facing Liverpool twice in a week
"It's normally difficult enough to play the same team in four days and for the players as well to adapt. The first game has a big impact on the second one and it's very tough to beat the same opponent twice in that short period.
"When you talk about Liverpool that challenge is much bigger. I just want to focus on Monday. Let's try to get the best possible preparation against them, go there and most importantly have the belief that we can go there and win.
"We all have to believe we can do that."
Arteta on victories over Liverpool
"They are all very different games. The one we played at the Emirates and the final were very different. It will be different again. We know the standards they have set in this league, how consistent they have been. That’s because they dominate almost every aspect of the game.
"We need to be at our best, we need to compete very well against this team. Hopefully the boys are ready to do that on Monday.
"They were really different. They have some variability depending on what they do, how we have to control those aspects, as well the way we can attack in different ways as well.
"We work all the time with them without much time to breathe, it's a really quick game. Long sequences of passes don't really exist against them. We have to be at our best that's for sure."
Arteta on Anfield and no fans
"I think obviously the crowd makes them stronger because it is a unique atmosphere they are able to create at Anfield.
"As well you are able to see how well they are playing without any crowds as well, so we know the challenge ahead of us, so let’s embrace it, let’s go for it, prepare well and try to go there and win."
Arteta on Thiago
Mikel Arteta has also been speaking to the press this afternoon and, as you'd expect, has had plenty to say about Liverpool.
Here's what he said when asked if Arsenal tried to sign Thiago...
"We don’t discuss the things that we have to try to do in the market.
"I really like him from my time I was in Barcelona. He plays with incredible personality, great talent, very special qualities to play in midfield. He's a great signing for Liverpool."
That's it from Jurgen Klopp!
Here are your key points...
Klopp on Thiago and if he'll start vs Arsenal
"We will see. We have a few days to train. Some boys have to recover from last night. I have an idea but don't need to make a decision yet. He is in contention."
Klopp on attacking threat
"I don't think we were unplayable last year to be honest. It was always really tough and really intense. I don't know if we can be better than last year or if we were better last year than the year before.
"We always try to do the right thing in the right moment. We are an offensive team but without a very good defensive structure you have no chance.
"If our team last night had been in a different shirt, I'd still know it was us from the identity. I like that a lot."
Klopp on Anfield run
"The only moment when I think about that number is when I am asked about it (the unbeaten run at Anfield). We try to win football matches. In different moments, with and without supporters. It is our home but we have no secret recipe. We never expect to lose but we never expect to win. We have to work and deserve three points."
Klopp on Brewster
"It should not surprise you. We don't really speak about any transfer rumours. He was not in the squad, you can make of it what you want. We have nothing really to say. No news."
Alisson issues Arsenal warning
Alisson is well aware of the threat Arsenal will pose on Monday, issuing a warning about the Gunners' forwards.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a screamer in the Gunners' Community Shield victory over Liverpool, while Alexandre Lacazette was on the scoresheet against the Reds at the Emirates back in July.
And Alisson has speaking about the threat they post.
"They have great strikers with good quality who can take decisions on the pitch. But now with more games played I think our team will do better against them."
Arsenal Carbao Cup details confirmed
Liverpool will face Arsenal twice in less than a week after beating Lincoln City last night.
The two sides clash in the Premier League on Monday, then will meet again in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.
Rhian Brewster future latest
Rhian Brewster is reportedly edging closer to a Liverpool exit after he was left out of the Reds’ matchday squad for the Carabao Cup trip to Lincoln City.
The Independent claim Sheffield United still heading the queue to sign him with Blades boss Chris Wilder and Jurgen Klopp holding another discussion about the young forward on Wednesday.
Joe Gomez injury update
Joe Gomez could return for Liverpool on Monday after Jurgen Klopp confirmed last night he's back in training today...
"Joe [Gomez] should be back in training tomorrow [Friday], I hope so and the situation could look slightly different."
Klopp's verdict on Lincoln win
Jurgen Klopp was rather happy with Liverpool's win over Lincoln City last night.
Here's his post-match reaction...
