Kim Kardashian has shown that she has already moved on from former US president Donald Trump, despite working with him on justice reform.

The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star paid thanks to all that helped in freeing Chris Young from his prison sentence.

The notable absentee from those she thanked was Trump, who her husband Kanye West had once waxed lyrical about.

Kim has reposted a video on Instagram of Chris Young arriving at an airport after being released from prison.

His life sentence had been commuted by Trump in a last-minute act of clemency, as the former president released a number of prisoners before he left office.

Captioning the video, Kim wrote: "Chris Young is FREE after more than a decade behind bars. Wow My heart is so full!

"It brings tears to my eyes to see Judge Sharp welcome him home."

Kim explained that Judge Sharp was forced to give a life sentence due to guidelines but he disagreed with the verdict so much that he resigned shortly afterwards.

Sharp embraced the man he had previously convicted when they met again after Young was freed.

Chris Young, a Clarksville man who received a presidential pardon, returned home for the first time since he was sentenced to life in prison eight years ago. The first person he hugged when he arrived in Nashville was the former judge who sentenced him.

Kim added: "I worked on this case with @msbkb (Chris' attorney Brittany K. Barnett) for years so this victory is so sweet!!!

"Thank you @alicemariefree @jessicajackson (REFORM Alliance's Chief Analytics Officer) & Judge Sharp for fighting so hard for Chris and never giving up!!!"

The reality star had previously been thankful of Trump's administration after she had some success in reforming the justice system and had a number of people released from prison after petitioning Trump.

She had previously spoken out about her work on the same platform as Trump and had been photographed in the Oval Office next to the president.
