Liverpool have been warned about Fulham’s favourite tactical ploy ahead of Sunday’s must-win Premier League game.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are desperate for a victory at Anfield, having lost their last five home league matches in succession.
Thursday’s 1-0 defeat by Chelsea means Liverpool have taken just three points from the last 18 available and face a real challenge just to finish in the top four this season.
The Reds are seventh, four points adrift of fourth place, and will be looking to put an end of their unprecedented losing streak at Anfield in the 2pm kick-off tomorrow.
It won’t be an easy task however, with Fulham knowing a victory could move them out of the relegation zone.
Scott Parker’s side lost 1-0 against Tottenham on Thursday to end their five-game unbeaten streak but former Arsenal defender Martin Keown believes they have the set-up to cause Liverpool problems.
“Joachim Andersen is a calming influence alongside fellow centre back Tosin Adarabioyo. He's Fulham's equivalent of Ruben Dias,” he wrote for The Daily Mail .
“You'll struggle to find a defender who can hit pin-point diagonal balls as well as 24-year-old loanee Andersen.
“Ademola Lookman benefited from one of his long, raking passes to secure a very big win against Sheffield United.
“That's a great weapon and one that could hurt Liverpool and their high line on Sunday.
“It is fine to hold a high line, but you have to know when to drop if there is no pressure on the player delivering the forward pass.
“Liverpool, in using non-specialist central defenders, have been caught out by that several times this season in one-v-one situations - with Mason Mount securing victory for Chelsea that way at Anfield on Thursday night.”
Mount latched onto a ball over the top of Liverpool’s defence before cutting inside Fabinho to beat Alisson with a curling shot into the bottom corner, which proved to be enough for Thomas Tuchel’s side to win.

Liverpool’s task could be made even more difficult against Fulham, with Ozan Kabak a major doubt after picking up a "little problem" in the defeat by Chelsea.
The Turkish international has been a regular fixture in the side since his January move from Schalke, but his potential absence means Klopp will be forced to field yet another pairing in central defence.
"Ozan after the game had a little problem," Klopp said on Friday. "He has played now a lot of games and we will see whether he is ready for Fulham.
"It doesn't look like it at the moment. We will have to find solutions."
Nat Phillips is expected to be available for the game after missing the Chelsea match with a minor problem, while Ben Davies is now fit and could feature for the first time since his move from Preston in January.
