Meghan Markle 'had same infrastructure as Kate' says expert
The Royal Family is at the centre of much discussion and controversy ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview due to air on Sunday in the United States. The interview is expected to be explosive and has potentially serious implications for the Royal Family. In a controversial clip, the Duchess of Sussex said it is “liberating” to speak freely and accused the Royal Family of “perpetuating falsehoods”.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry stepped back from their senior roles within the Royal Family a year ago.
Since that time the Sussex family have lived in the US with their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The “split” sparked further speculation regarding a royal rift between the Cambridges and Sussexes.
Clips from this weekend’s television interview show the Duchess of Sussex accusing the Royal Family of “perpetuating falsehoods” adding more fuel to rumours of a feud.
In the teaser clip, Meghan said: “I don't know how they could expect that, after all of this time, we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.”

But was there really a feud between Kate and Meghan?
Speculation about a rift surrounded the Cambridges and Sussexes for several years but peaked in 2018 when the Sussex couple moved out of Kensington Palace into their own home in Windsor.
In 2018, a source told the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English: “While there are some tensions behind the scenes, Kate is pretty unflappable and nothing has become bad enough to make Harry and Meghan want to move out.
“People are genuinely pleased to see them so happy.
“The truth is that there simply isn’t enough room at Kensington Palace for them and I know they have been looking at Windsor as a possibility since before the wedding.”
Kate vs Meghan: Speculation about a royal rift has been around for years
The royal biography Finding Freedom co-authored by royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand also claimed the feud between Meghan and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, was largely fabricated.
The book reads: “Meghan would agree with the assessment that the Duchesses were not the best of friends.
“Their relationship hadn’t progressed much since she was Harry’s girlfriend.
“Although Meghan might have understood Kate’s wariness to strike up a meaningful friendship, they were still no closer by the time she was a fellow senior working member of the Royal Family and the wife of William’s brother."
In addition, one source has claimed the Duchess of Sussex has nothing but “kind words” for the Duchess of Cambridge in her interview.
The insider told The Post, Buckingham Palace has no need to worry.
They added the Oprah interview would not expose the extent of any rift between the four royals.

However, in anticipation of the Oprah interview, many royal insiders have been suggesting a feud did erupt between the two royals.
The Duchess of Sussex blames royal aides working for Kate, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for leaking stories about her according to sources.
Meghan reportedly believes their staff briefed negative stories about her to the media, including a report suggesting she left Kate in tears during a bridesmaid fitting before her wedding to Prince Harry.
A source said Buckingham Palace was “deeply upset” by these claims.
The source told The Times: “It is absolutely untrue that the Palace has been peddling disinformation or conducting any kind of campaign ahead of the interview.
“The Palace has not got involved. It has clearly not been coming from us.”
Kate vs Meghan: Meghan and Harry's interview on Oprah will air on Sunday evening in the USA
Despite others claiming otherwise, Meghan’s relationship with Kate will be up for discussion in the Oprah interview according to a royal insider.
The source told The Sun: “If she has chosen to speak candidly about her time with Kate then the damage that could be done to the monarchy is vast.
“She has the power to lay bare just how bad things really were between her, Harry, William and Kate.”
But in spite of whatever, the Sussexes say, royal commentators Christina Garibaldi and Molly Mulshine claim the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are “utterly aghast” and “appalled” by the Sussex couple’s behaviour.
Ms Garibaldi told Express.co.uk: “We are hearing that Prince William and Kate are not too happy to tell all in their upcoming interview. We hear that they are actually appalled by this.”
Ms Mulshine added: “Yeah, this is some really strong language, they are appalled by it.
“They think it is beyond the pale and utterly aghast, this is what the source has said.”
Royal commentator Charlie Lankston echoed this sentiment telling Hollywood Access the Royal Family is angry and frustrated by the couple making “embarrassing revelations”.
