Kate Middleton 'won't have same support as Queen' says Smith

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have advertised an exciting new job opportunity for a skilled green fingered professional. The couple are looking to hire a new Head Gardener who will be responsible for overseeing a private garden on their Norfolk estate.

The position will be based at one of the Cambridge’s Norfolk properties but the job description did not specify which one.

However, some media outlets are speculating that the position will be based at Anmer Hall, where William and Kate spend most weekends and holidays.

The job description states that the Head Gardener will lead a “very small team” and will have a broad range of responsibilities.

The horticultural candidate will need to work with their team including “a garden designer, contractors and other private Household staff” to keep the property looking spotless.

The practice also encompasses a broader philosophy which incorporates a holistic view of gardening and emphasises the interdependence of life forms.

Kate Middleton has evidenced her love of gardening when she helped design a special horticultural display at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.

Despite his wife’s gardening talent, Prince William admitted to Brian Penney, a coordinator of Men’s Sheds, that he hasn’t picked up on her talents.

He said: “I really like it, but I have no idea what I’m doing.”
