Liverpool makeup artist Kate Hayes has said she is "over the moon" after launching a line of beauty products in collaboration with Home Bargains.

Home Bargains shoppers went into an excited frenzy when the collaboration was revealed - and the full range has since launched in stores.

Kate, from Heswall, previously worked at popular venue Peaches and Cream on Dale Street in Liverpool before leaving several years ago to launch her own makeup business, Kate Hayes Academy, based in Bootle.

Kate's talent and passion for makeup and beauty has seen her working with celebrities including Kim Kardashian, and she was even asked for her makeup services by RnB singer Ashanti.

During her career, Kate has taught masterclasses, completed wedding makeup, celebrity photoshoots and more.

Now, Kate’s collaboration with Home Bargains, something that's been in the works for around two years, has finally arrived.

The Kate Hayes x Home Bargains collection features everything from makeup brushes and false eyelashes to tanning mitts and even full sized makeup trolleys for those wanting to get serious about their makeup.

Kate said she "lovingly created" each item in the hopes it's accessible to all budgets.

Kate announced the news to her 178K followers on Instagram, where she penned: "I can't even believe I am writing this but after two years our products will be launching all over the country! I couldn't have picked a better brand to collaborate with LIKE HOME BARGAINS my favourite shop.

"Literally if you have followed me for a long time I absolutely love and adore this place and the team behind the brand are incredible."

In a statement to the Liverpool ECHO, Kate said: "This range is something I have wanted to create for so many years and with Home Bargains being one of my favourite stores, I'm ecstatic that I've been able to work with them on this.

"From my own experience in the make-up industry, I know how expensive make-up accessories can be. That's why making the products affordable was really important to me. I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to add high-quality products into their make-up kits without having to break the bank. Whether you're wanting to start your career in the make-up industry, you're already a pro or you just fancy being creative and having a play with make-up, the whole range suits any budget and any level.

"From the red, white and pink colour palette to the names of the lashes – inspired by my daughter and niece – I've spent so much time working alongside Home Bargains to make sure each item is lovingly created.

"I'm over the moon about the positive response we've received so far and I'm so incredibly grateful to everyone that came out to stores since it launched on 6th May and bought the products. It really is a dream come true."

The Kate Hayes x Home Bargains range is available at selected larger stores and selected items are available online.
