FANS of Kanye West’s favourite fashion designer Ambush can splash out £559 for a peg. And buyers are warned they only get a single peg for their brass – though it is actually made out of brass.
The zany Japanese designer house – which also counts Rihanna as a fan – has designed the green wash-day staple to fit through a pierced ear.
Stockist Farfetch reveals online: “Presenting a variety of androgynous, streetwear-inspired designs, it’s clear to see why Business of Fashion coined the brand as "Tokyo's premiere style icons".
“This green Nobo clip earring from AMBUSH features a spring-closed design, a peg shape and an engraved logo. This is a single earring.”
And Ambush don’t stop there with their latest crazy collection. Fans can also buy a £312 peg designed to be fastened to a lapel.
There’s a £110 necklace with a whistle attached and £232 gets you a chain with a lighter fitted. But the lighter doesn’t even work.
Would-be buyers are told: “No more approaching strangers asking for a lighter. This logo lighter necklace from Ambush has a delicate chain and a green lighter pendant.
“It doesn't really make fire, but that might prevent you from accidentally setting your top on fire.”
