Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has blasted popular video game Fortnite, insisting that it is a "nightmare" for managers when players are regularly playing it.

Mourinho, now in charge of Italian giants Roma, made the admission during a Q&A session video released on the Serie A club's Twitter page, where he answered questions on a wide range of topics, as Roma looked to try and offer their supporters some insight into Mourinho's opinions on a range of topics.

Amongst the questions put to the former United and Tottenham Hotspur boss was one about popular video game Fortnite, which has captured the attentions of millions across the world in recent years.

However, Mourinho is not a fan of the game at all, revealing that it is a "nightmare" for managers when players spend all night playing it ahead of a game.

"Fortnite is a nightmare," Mourinho said, as quoted by Goal. "Football players stay up all night playing that s*** and they have a game the next day."

As outlined above, Fortnite, following its release in 2017, has become one of the most popular games in the world in recent history, with several big-name footballers becoming hooked to it. Interestingly, England captain Harry Kane and Brazilian icons Neymar and Pele have featured in the game itself.

As well as addressing his dim view of the computer game, Mourinho also touched on other topics, including Roman slang, vowing that he wants to learn as much of it as possible.

"I will learn a lot, insisted Mourinho. "I have, on my staff, the right guy to teach me everything every day."
