JORGINHO'S agent has thrown the midfielder's Chelsea future into doubt by talking up the chances of a move to Juventus.
A reunion with Bianconeri boss Maurizio Sarri was reportedly on the cards with the player's representative, Joao Santos, openly discussing a deal at the time.
But Jorginho has excelled under Frank Lampard to shrug off any assertions he was the "teacher's pet" when Sarri was in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Still, the two spells he enjoyed under the Italian - the first of which came at Napoli before following his coach to London - means the Juve question is once again rearing its head.
Speaking to TMW, agent Santos claimed that offers are likely should Jorginho perform well at Euro 2020.
He said: "[Jorginho's] goal is Euro 2020 with the national team - there are many expectations around Mancini's team.
"The Euros are also a good personal showcase, he is doing very well at Chelsea and I am sure that some important offers will come because in his role there are not many high level players like him around."
When pressed specifically on a potential Juventus move, Santos opted not to dismiss it out of hand.
He replied: "Why not?
"I am sure that some important offers will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea."
Already this season, Jorginho has played 32 times for the Blues and is expected to be a key part of the Italy team fighting for Euro 2020 in the summer.
