Joe Swash left Stacey Solomon looking shocked on last night's episode of Celebrity Gogglebox.

The pair were seen snuggled on their sofa as they watched magician Damien O’Brien on Britain's Got Talent ask judge Alesha Dixon what memorable date and month she was thinking of during a trick.

Stacey then turned to Joe, who is an Arsenal fan, and asked him what his date would be - no doubt expecting him to say the day the pair met.

And Joe responded, "My date would be, when Arsenal done the double," in reference to when Arsenal FC achieved the league and cup double in the 1997–98 season.

The celebrities were speaking about a scene showing Olivia Coleman's Queen Anne telling Rachel Weisz's Sarah Churchill to, "F**k me".

It shocked some celebs such as Eamonn Holmes and prompted Joe to speak of how he first met Stacey.

Joe Swash made a savage jibe at Stacey Solomon

He said: "You know what this reminds me of? When we first met."

Stacey denied this was true, saying: "That never happened.

"You're an idiot. That's not how it went."

But Joe replied: "That's exactly what you said to me."

Stacey laughed and said: "No it isn't, shut up!"

Celebrity Gogglebox viewers were furious watching Friday's show as they accused the Channel 4 show stars of breaking lockdown rules.

While several of the celebrities, including Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, and Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon, live together, others do not.

Stacey and Joe are proud parents to baby Rex

Celebs who appeared on the episode who do not live together included Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv, Gyles Bandreth and his friend Maureen Lipman, Ashley Roberts and her friend Jamie Theakston, and Bez and Shaun Ryder, as well as comedians Mo Gilligan and Babatúndé Aléshé.

Current lockdown guidance says members of the public should not be in each other's homes unless it is to briefly use the toilet, which should be cleaned afterwards.

But the celebrities were sitting together watching television, and in some cases even sharing food.

This concerned some viewers, who took to  Twitter  to ask why this was allowed to go on.
