Joe Hart is reportedly on the verge of sealing his move to Celtic, with a medical set for Tuesday.

The Tottenham goalkeeper has emerged as the Parkhead club's number one target between the posts, as Ange Postecoglou looks for a reliable option.

Greek international Vasilis Barkas has struggled since his move, while backup Scott Bain has also had shaky form over the past year.

Now the Daily Mail is reporting that a £1million deal has been agreed that will see Hart move to the Premiership on a three-year deal.

The 34-year-old is set to take his medicals on Tuesday before officially putting pen to paper.

Hart was once regarded as one of the finest goalkeepers in the world but has endured something of a fall from grace in recent years.

Doubts about his ability on the ball saw him frozen out by Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, and a loan move to Torino proved less than successful.

Spells at West Ham and Burnley were similarly unconvincing as the goalkeeper lost his place in the England team.

Hart joined Tottenham last summer to play a backup role, but is now keen to get more first team football.

Having only been used in cup games by Spurs, His last Premier League appearance was for Burnley in a 5-1 defeat by Everton in December 2018.
