Jilted man threatened to ‘out’ estranged wife as a Tesco cleaner on Facebook after she demanded a divorce

A JILTED husband threatened to take revenge on his estranged wife by “outing'” her on Facebook as a cleaner at Tesco.

Andrzej Lukaszuk, 62, thought his ex-missus Monica would be embarrassed if friends found out about her job at their local supermarket.

So when she demanded a divorce after 27 years of marriage, he took pics of her in her cleaner’s uniform and vowed to publicly shame her, a court heard.

But police warned him about it and then arrested him when he confronted her in a rage.

She told officers her estranged husband had also told her 80-year-old mother she was having an affair and sent other abusive texts in a vindictive smear campaign.

Poland-born Lukaszuk, of Eccles, Gtr Manchester, had turned up at the store to get snaps of Monica, who is in her 50s.

Prosecutor Robin Lynch said: “He threatened the aggrieved with disclosing photographs of her in her cleaner’s outfit for Tesco.

“This was designed to embarrass her because the defendant would say she hadn’t told her friends she was a cleaner.”

He admitted harassment between December 2018 and June 2019.

The couple had split in 2013 because of his unreasonable behaviour, the court heard.

Manchester magistrates banned him from contacting her for two years under the terms of a restraining order.

He was also fined £120, with £170 costs and surcharges, and ordered to complete a 12-month community order.
