A guest who appeared on The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2018 has undergone an incredible transformation after overcoming her heroin addiction.

Michelle Wallace had been addicted to heroin for 20 years when she appeared on the show - which she now says saved her life.

Michelle, a former sex worker, appeared on an episode entitled "My prostitute sister blames our dad for her 20 year addiction".

After years of using the Class A drug, Michelle was incredibly thin when she appeared on the show.

Her dark brown hair fell in a fringe over her forehead.

Three years later, Michelle looks completely different, the Daily Star reports.

Michelle now has light hair which falls to her shoulders, and she looks much healthier in recent photos.

The show's psychologist Graham Stanier posted a statement from Michelle on his Instagram account, explaining how far she’s come since being sent off to rehab on the show.

She said: "This time three years ago was when the Jeremy Kyle team came to my flat in Walsall to do a recording of me in my flat.

"I was so frightened, I didn’t know what to expect. I had hit rock bottom, my flat windows were smashed through, it also looked like a crack den.

"My drug use was so out of control I had given up on life, I just wanted to die. I didn’t want to live anymore, I couldn’t live the life anymore, so I’m so blessed that my beautiful princess emailed the show as she knew her mum was in there somewhere."

Michelle, who is a mum and a grandmother, said she has "her family back" and "couldn't be happier" with her life today.

She's getting married to the "man of her dreams" in April.

Graham congratulated Michelle in his own post, writing: "Congratulations [Michelle]. Celebrating three years clean today. So deserving of a happy and healthy life."
