A JEALOUS wife slashed her husband with a kitchen knife over a text message, a court heard.
Janeen Pugh, 48, demanded to know who had sent it to partner Wayne, 53, as they sat at home together.
He showed her the phone but she called him a “f****** liar” and threw it at his face.
Pugh chased Wayne with a 7in blade as he ran for help to a neighbour’s in Beddau, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
She cut his hand during a struggle.

Claire Wilks, prosecuting, told Cardiff crown court Mr Pugh feared he would be killed.
The text was not disclosed. Peter Donnison, defending, said alcohol and their “volatile” relationship played a part.
Pugh admitted wounding and possessing a knife and was jailed for 25 months.
